This project explored innovative solutions to create configurable tables with central legs. Instead of relying on heavy legs for stability, we used linoleum to form durable conic shapes. This design allowed for integrated cable management and a lightweight delivery system using a portable sand/water tank for stability. Our approach resulted in a versatile design that allows many configurations.
participation
I assisted with this project from the beginning, starting with research and initial sketches, followed by small paper models and 3D analysis for stability. I then helped create full-scale cardboard models and detailed 3D renderings. It allowed our team to collaborate easily with the client to seamlessly integrate the weight into the table leg without compromising its aesthetic.
